Interesting Facts

There are very many good and interesting facts about the Vietnam war. For example, most people say that in WWII was more violent and crazy than the Vietnam war. But the truth is that in WWII the average infantrymen saw about 40 days of action out of about 4 years. Where as in the Vietnam war the average infantrymen saw about 240 days of action out of one year. Another interesting fact is the about 2/3 of the men in the Vietnam war were volunteers. Where as in WWII 2/3 of the men were drafted. Also in comparison to WWII the amount of wounds and severe injures increased by about 300 percent. During the war 240 men had received the metal of honor award. Also on average veteran's from the war have about a 18% more income than that of non-veterans. There are many other interesting facts about this war. But there are also many debates about the facts.
